Jojo 1.5 year old male -Sold to Emily of Portland!

JoJo is a stunning young Devon Rex male with striking green/yellow eyes, a soft white coat (it feels like velvet), and the signature elfin expression this breed is loved for. He has a sweet, observant personality and carries himself with a quiet confidence—he’s the kind of cat that bonds deeply with his people.

Health & Transparency:

JoJo recently had a comprehensive echocardiogram performed by a board-certified cardiologist. His heart function is normal, however the report noted borderline concentric left ventricular hypertrophy. These findings may have a range of explanations. In some cases, mild thickening can be influenced by stress during the exam, normal variation for that individual cat, or even slight measurement variability. It could remain stable or reflect his normal baseline. However, it’s also something that could, over time, indicate early mild HCM. Right now, JoJo is asymptomatic, and I’m being open so his future family can monitor him with care. The cardiologist recommended a follow-up echocardiogram in approximately 6 months to monitor for any changes. If the measurements remain stable, this may simply represent his normal baseline or minor variability. If they fall within the normal range, it would be considered a reassuring finding. He is otherwise healthy, active, and shows no clinical symptoms.

Out of an abundance of caution and commitment to responsible breeding, I have made the decision to place him as a pet only rather than continue with breeding plans.

Temperament:

JoJo does best in a home that appreciates the Devon Rex personality—affectionate, people-oriented, and a little quirky. He enjoys cozy spaces, soft blankets, and being near his humans. He is extremely affectionate! 

I have over $4,000 invested in JoJo. While I’m prioritizing a loving home, I’m asking a reduced placement fee ($1300) to recoup a portion of what I have paid for him. He is up to date on all his vaccines, and microchipped.
